Party season is upon us and with it comes a plethora of work celebrations and events, however, speaker hire, sound system hire, and lights hire is often the last thing organisers will think about, resulting in many panicked enquiries the night before the event. This guide will ease your fears and take you through the best options for small, medium, and larger party sizes.
Small Parties (up to 60 people)
For this size event you would looking at a small yet powerful enough setup, something like a pair of active EV SXa100+ speakers would do the trick. Powerful and punchy but not too overbearing, perfect for smaller parties and easy to use.
Medium Parties (up to 150 people)
A more prominent setup is required for a larger crowd, for up to 100 people you can't go wrong with the EV ZLX12P active speakers which are sleek looking and come with an aux connection ready for you to plug you phone or laptop in and blast out your favourite tunes. For something even more powerful (up to 150 people) it would worth upgrading to a pair of EV ZLX15P active speakers and potentially adding a subwoofer for extra bass power, an Alto TS15 would pair well.
Large Parties (up to 300 people)
For a crowd this size you are certainly want to hire in something that is loud and powerful but still maintains sound clarity and quality for your guests. My-in-one packages are the way to go in this scenario, try the DJ Package which contains two high end speakers and two subwoofers.
